Refund policy

Donations to Great Free Kitchen are charitable gifts and are generally not refundable. We will, however, gladly correct genuine mistakes.

When we refund

• You were charged twice for the same donation
• You entered the wrong amount
• The charge was made without your authorization

Please contact us within 30 days of the charge so we can put it right.

How to request a refund

Email receipt@greatfreekitchen.org or call (929) 731-4642. Include the donor name, the date and amount of the charge, and the receipt reference from your confirmation email. Approved refunds are returned to the original card, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Recurring gifts

You may cancel a recurring gift at any time by contacting us with the details above. Cancellation stops all future installments; payments already processed follow the refund rules on this page.

A refunded donation is no longer tax-deductible. If you already received a receipt for it, please discard it.
