Let your house be opened wide, and let the poor be members of thy household.
Over a hundred years feeding the poor of Jerusalem.
What your gift does
Six shifts, forty children to a shift, every weekday of the year.

Feeds poor scholars who make the study of Torah their lifetime pursuit.
Warm meals for poor children and orphans from homes that cannot feed them.
A hot lunch six times a day, every weekday of the year.
Keeps children from being lured away by mission homes and other such influences, with the offer of a warm meal.
Keeps children off the street by giving them warm and friendly surroundings.
Relieves struggling households of the one expense they cannot carry — feeding their own children.
Our appeal
Great Free Kitchen in Jerusalem (established by Chaye Olam Institutions) needs your help. For many struggling families, the meals we provide ease the daily burden of putting food on the table for their children. Our work depends almost entirely on the generosity of those who receive our mail.
Food prices have risen far faster than our resources, and in the coming months the need will be greater than ever. We cannot meet it without you.
So we ask you plainly: give what you can, and if possible give it now. May the Almighty repay your generosity with countless blessings.
May you be inscribed for a year of health, parnossah and nachas.
